COMPATIBILITY ENGINE ONLINE
CDD://GROUND_ZERO
UNDERSTAND THE PERSON. UNDERSTAND THE PRODUCT. UNDERSTAND THE FIT.
Ground Zero is a WooCommerce product recommendation and compatibility system. A customer completes a structured 51-question Blueprint. Products receive their own structured Product DNA. Ground Zero brings the two together to explore compatibility and explain why a product may suit that individual.
Most ecommerce personalisation begins with what somebody clicked, searched for or bought.
Ground Zero starts earlier. With the person.
human_dna + product_dna = compatibility
01 / THE PROBLEM
MOST PERSONALISATION STARTS TOO LATE.
You looked at red shoes, so you are shown more red shoes. You bought shampoo, so you are asked to buy shampoo again. Someone statistically similar to you bought something, so perhaps you will like it too.
That is useful technology. But Ground Zero asks a different question.
What if we understood the person before deciding what to recommend?
Not simply: what did you click?
But: who are you?
How do you naturally operate? What environments suit you? What characteristics matter to you? What styles, outcomes and ways of living actually fit?
02 / TRY IT YOURSELF
BEFORE WE SHOW YOU THE TECHNOLOGY, BE THE CUSTOMER.
Ground Zero is already operating as a live demonstration through Nana’s Quest.
Don’t read about Ground Zero first. Experience it.
Take the Blueprint as though you were shopping on Nana’s Quest. See what it gives you back. Then come back here and we’ll show you what was happening underneath.

03 / THE HUMAN
FIRST, WE UNDERSTAND THE PERSON.
The purpose of Ground Zero is not to produce another personality quiz. The questions create structured information across different areas of the person.
How the person naturally operates.
How style and preference show up.
How fit, form and comfort may matter.
The feeling, pace and presence around the person.
One place personal details can become practical.
What direction or outcome may be useful.
What kind of context supports the person.
MY GROUND ZERO BLUEPRINT
The deeper synthesis.
What do these different pieces appear to say when they are considered together?
MY OPERATING MANUAL
The practical layer.
Not simply, “Here is an interesting description of you,” but, “What can I actually do with this?”
Ground Zero becomes valuable when understanding changes a decision.
04 / THE PRODUCT
BUT UNDERSTANDING THE HUMAN IS ONLY HALF THE SYSTEM.
If Ground Zero is going to determine whether something may suit a person, it also needs to understand the thing being recommended.
So products receive a Blueprint too.
PRODUCT DNA.

CORE TRAIT
This creates a common language between the human and the product.
05 / THE MATCH
THEN THE TWO SIDES MEET.
87% COMPATIBLE
The customer does not need to see every raw internal attribute. They do not need to understand the machinery.
The intelligence can be complicated. The experience should not be.
06 / TURN THE SCREEN AROUND
NOW YOU’RE THE BUSINESS.

07 / EIGHT IDENTITIES
A SHARED LANGUAGE.
Ground Zero currently works with eight core identities. They are not intended to trap somebody inside a personality box. People can contain combinations, and products can be classified using the same structured vocabulary.
CONNECTOR
CREATOR
EXPLORER
INVESTIGATOR
LEADER
PROTECTOR
TEACHER
08 / PRIVACY PHILOSOPHY
PERSONALISATION FOR THE PERSON. NOT JUST PERSONALISATION FOR THE RETAILER.
Ground Zero is not designed around secretly building a profile of somebody from months of browsing behaviour.
The person deliberately provides the information. And importantly, the person gets something back: their Blueprint, their Operating Manual and their understanding.
The current live experience does not require a customer’s name or email to complete the Blueprint.
If someone is going to provide information about themselves, the technology should create value for them too.
09 / WHY IT MATTERS
COULD BETTER COMPATIBILITY CREATE BETTER DECISIONS?
BETTER FIT
MORE INFORMED DECISIONS
POTENTIALLY FEWER MISMATCHED PURCHASES
Ground Zero does not currently have evidence showing that it reduces returns or waste. That is something to test.
But it creates a legitimate question worth investigating: could understanding compatibility before purchase help people choose more appropriately in the first place?
10 / WHITE LABEL
YOUR SHOP. GROUND ZERO UNDERNEATH: WHITE-LABEL WOOCOMMERCE PERSONALISATION.
Ground Zero is being developed with white-label WordPress and WooCommerce applications in mind.
Imagine your customer completing the experience inside your environment. Your branding. Your products. Your catalogue. Your customer relationship.
Ground Zero becomes the intelligence underneath, creating a structured language between the person and the products you sell.
That’s one of the directions we’re currently exploring.
YOUR BRAND
YOUR PRODUCTS
YOUR CUSTOMERS
Customise the experience. Protect the intelligence.
11 / WHERE COULD THIS GO?
ONE ENGINE. MANY ENVIRONMENTS.
BEAUTY
HOMEWARES
HANDMADE
GIFTS
BOOKS
MARKETPLACES
LIFESTYLE
EXPERIENCES
Some of those applications are future possibilities, not currently deployed Ground Zero capabilities. That is exactly why we are interested in pilots, integrations and partnerships.
12 / COULD THIS BELONG IN YOUR BUSINESS?
YOU’VE TRIED IT AS THE CUSTOMER. NOW IMAGINE IT INSIDE YOUR STORE.
Ground Zero is currently being explored beyond Nana’s Quest.
If you’ve completed the experience and found yourself wondering what this could look like inside your own website, that’s exactly the conversation we’re interested in having.
Your products. Your customers. Your brand. With Ground Zero working underneath to help explore the fit between them.
We are interested in conversations with businesses, organisations and technology partners around pilots, white-label applications, integrations, licensing and other ways Ground Zero could be tested in real environments.
You don’t need to know what the commercial model looks like yet. Neither do we need to force every opportunity into the same box. Start with the idea.

DID THE QUIZ MAKE YOU THINK OF YOUR OWN BUSINESS?
Maybe you tried Ground Zero and immediately thought of your own products.
Maybe you can imagine it sitting inside your WooCommerce store.
Maybe you’re thinking about a completely different use for the underlying system.
You don’t need a proposal. You don’t need to know whether you need a pilot, licence, integration or white-label system.
Tell us what you’re thinking. Let’s have a conversation.
